On our drive from Colorado to Las Vegas, we made a slight detour to visit Arches National Park, in Moab Utah, which is one of the most beautiful places on the planet!

We drove the scenic route and hiked a few of the shorter trails that lead to arches, not visible from the car. It was pretty cold out, with spots of snow still on the ground!

I was here once before in the Winter and remember loving the contrast of snow against red rock and blue skies! This time of year, the park takes on a certain quietness.

Without the family filled campers, and tourist filled buses, it’s easy to find yourself lost in the beauty of it all;

The expanse land, stretching out into the horizon, the sound of the wind blowing through the narrow channels of rock that took millions of years to carve itself into the landscape we see today, the cool fresh air…it all blends together perfectly!
