Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore…
That quote pretty much sums up my feeling towards skiing Utah for the first time. It was so hard to see anything in the heavy fog and with an elevation that makes our Connecticut slopes look like mosquito bites, I have to say that at times, I was actually scared I might tumble right off the trail to – well, who knows…
I like heights and all, but skiing in foggy conditions made telling where the trail ended difficult at first. Once my eyes adjusted, however, I was in skiers heaven with powdery snow and long and winding trails.
