Last night, JC and I stayed in the heart of Hollywood at Loews, which is in the middle of all the (touristy) action. Tonight, we are slowing things down a bit and staying the night at the BEST WESTERN PLUS Sunset Plaza Hotel in West Hollywood. Even though it’s not in the heart of Hollywood, like Loews, it’s located on Sunset boulevard and is still close to plenty of things to do. In fact, there’s a Pink Taco across the street (yum) and a House of Blues pretty much next door.

The first thing I noticed when we pulled up to this BW is how pretty it is! The entire building is covered with gorgeous pink flowers and the architecture, with open breezeways, has a very charming appeal. The front desk was pleasant and check in was fast and easy. JC and I appreciated the free parking in the garage and the option to use a luggage cart without having to request a bell hop. The pool area is tropical and lush and unlike Loews, there is free wifi as well as complimentary breakfast in the morning (scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, waffles, toasted bagels, cereal, fresh juices, etc).  All in all, I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely consider in the future! Additional photos after the jump.
