Looking ahead to spring/summer 2012, I want to start sharing some of the great fashions I’ve had the opportunity to see already! Starting off with a brand called Muse, here is a sneak peak at their upcoming collection which includes bright prints, bold patterns, and lots of the season’s hottest trends like color blocking. All of the photos below are from my visit to their showroom and I’ve even included a couple of snapshots of their mood boards – I recently finished my own vision board for 2012 and I always love seeing some of the inspiration behind a collection.

As a brand, Muse is very trend-driven, wearable and affordable for the savvy woman. Most styles can take you from day to night, which is something they pride themselves on! I really enjoyed seeing the newest looks at the Muse showroom and hope you guys enjoy seeing the photos I took as well. Xoxo

I am loving this brightly colored dress with beading around the neckline – so fun and perfect for summer!

One of the trends that I have been seeing a lot for Spring/Summer 2012 is this retro – inspired, zig-zag/striped print. It’s very chic on this dress that I wish was hanging in my closet right now – sigh, the hard part about seeing all these great clothes is that they aren’t for sale yet!

Another HUGE trend right now is color blocking. This look was rampant on the runway and sure to be a big hit for the next few seasons. The trick to this look is making sure that you don’t mix too many contrasting colors at once.

Bold prints like the dress below are also very ‘on trend’ for this year’s fashion. The great thing about this sexy, little number is that you can wear it with flats in the day and then really glam it up at night with heels and some statement jewelry. Although hard to tell in a photo, the material and cut of this dress are perfect for the traveler – essentially wrinkle – free and super comfy!

The maxi dress came back in style a few seasons ago and will be around for awhile to come. I am totally obsessed with the water color-esque print on this dress and the fabric is super flowy.

Similar to the dress before last, this gorgeous printed dress is perfect for a day-to-night transition and seems like it would be a great travel item to pack for a travel excursion (somewhere warm, of course).

I am completely in love with the asymmetrical top on this dress! So casual/comfortable and yet glamorous as the same time!

Jungle fever – a popular look as seen on the snake-print dress below. Also, the pop of yellow on the inside really makes this print stand out!

Once again, here’s that zig/zag/striped pattern that I mentioned, though this time on a blazer! Amazing!!!!

The wide legged trouser is back and the more flowy the material, the better!

This brightly colored orange dress would look great paired with some gold jewelry or as the foundation for some DIY color-blocking. The great thing about a solid colored dress is that it is essentially a canvas for your sense of creativity!
