Whenever possible, I always try and snag the window seat when flying, which causes a bit of friendly competitiveness with my bf, who also likes the window seat. Luckily for me, I often win this little battle, which means I’m able to take some pretty awesome photos. This trip from Bradley Airport in Connecticut included a layover in Minneapolis, followed by a flight over the snow capped mountains in Colorado and the deeply carved canyons in Utah. As we approached California, the landscape changed from red rock to green mountains covered with a canopy of trees and then soon, San Diego’s beautiful skyline next to the blue waters of the western coastline.
