While at the Marina Hotel, I made good use of the resort’s many amenities.
As part of the Renaissance property, the Marina Hotel is just a short walk from my suite and offered plenty of reasons for me to visit.
For starters, the front desk boasts three large tanks filled with luminescent jelly fish which are absolutely mesmerizing!
Beyond the desk, the lobby extends to an outdoor patio/bar called ‘Blue’ where guests can enjoy some really delicious food like coconut shrimp, tuna tartare, lamb chops with mint sauce and just about anything else delectable that you can think of. Since my trip was all inclusive, I was able to sample plenty off the menu and can say with confidence, there is something for everyone!

Most of the time, there was live music playing in this area which also bordered a gorgeous infinity pool that is adult exclusive and offers private, white curtained cabanas for shade. This section of the resort overlooks the Aruba marina (hence the name of the hotel) and offers sweeping views of the harbor as well as some extravagant yachts.
The Marina Hotel is also where guests can go if they feel like doing a little gambling as there is a casino which offers table games as well as my favorite – the penny slots! (I like to feel like a high roller when I bet 25 cents!).
The first floor of the resort is where the shopping takes place with luxury designer stores taking residence as part of the resort’s mall. Think big like Carolina Herrera, Custo Barcelona, Cartier, etc…
If you feel like taking a trip out to the resort’s private island, just hop on the boat which channels right into the mall’s lobby and will pick you up and/or drop you off throughout the day (as long as you have your guest pass) and is conveniently located next to a Starbucks so you can get your daily caffeine fix without skipping a beat.
