Charlotte Russe and Alison Brod PR recently held a STYLEOFF and invited the top bloggers from the nation to come and compete. Besides major bragging rights, the winner of the contest will receive an iPad and two runners up will get gift cards to shop at the store. Derek Warburton, from DerekLovesShopping.com hosted the event and Kristen Colapinto from FashionNewsLive.com and SocialVixen.com took the twenty minute, styling challenge!

Each of the bloggers, was given a ‘scenario’ such as ‘date night with the ex’ or ‘going to a movie premiere’ and then given twenty minutes to sift through the clothing racks and dress their mannequin.
Kristen’s scenario was ‘most likely to succeed’ and so immediately begin to put together a business outfit complete with a high- waisted, pencil skirt and a matching, ruffled blazer. She paired the outfit with a lace tank top, suede pumps and a black day bag. To top off the ensemble, she added a statement necklace and as Derek and onlookers began counting down from ten, she was done with seconds to spare!

The entire event was streamed live on the Charlotte Russe website and those watching from home tweeted in to win cool prizes. Attendees were served delicious, top -shelf cocktails made from fresh ingredients like cucumber, orange and thyme and Orderves including sushi, fruit ice pops and a candy bar. When Derek wasn’t busy being Fabulous, a DJ kept the energy going.
At the end of the evening, guests were invited to shop the shoe, clothing and accessories racks and fill up their own, over sized goodie bags!
