Yesterday’s hike to Calico Basin, with Liz, was so much fun that I decided to sign up for another one of her hikes this morning; Fossil Ridge Wildflower Hike. Approximately, 3 miles.

There were so many cool things about this hike, including the ‘cactus garden’ that Liz pointed out, which is essentially an area covered in beautiful cacti, many of which are either blooming, or starting to bloom!

Of course, as the name implies, there are also a ton of fossils that you can see while hiking along a high ridge – (if you have vertigo, you’ll want to stay on the inside of the trail), lol!

My favorite part of the hike though, was getting to see this super cute jackrabbit…
