The Kithe Brewster Spring 2013 Debut Collection was held at the swank Nomad Hotel in New York City’s Midtown neighborhood.

While in suspense for the start of the show, Kithe Brewster served shoulder-to-shoulder guests elegant apperitivos and Nicolas Feuillatte champagne, setting the stage for an intimate affair. Even Brewster’s buddy Wyclef arrived and confirmed himself a devout friend and fan of the designer, donning his own black and white Brewster tailor-made suit. Models hit the floor all wearing identical short, dark black wigs, adding to the whimsical spirit of the designers’s Spring 2013 Collection. The models’ hair contrasted many of the designers’ unique and lighter looks, like the white leather multifunctional dress with cape detail, the white sleeveless organza wrap top with denim wide leg trouser, and the teal silk chiffon tunic dress, with a gold metallic woven.

Brewster stuck with a mostly conservative color palette of white, ivory, champagne, sea foam and navy, which contrasted and yet compliment his exciting, un-conservative and even jaw-dropping cuts; at one point, guests noticed they could see the models’ you-know-what.

But Brewster also included bright, brave–and riske–colors to coincide with his exciting styles, such as his fuschia coffin tulle strapless dress, the black lambskin minidress, as well as the purple coffin tulle multifaceted wrap dress, and a fuschia lavender tie dye coffin tulle wrap dress.

We’re excited about Brewster’s cohesive Spring 2013 Collection and can’t wait to see how it literally “fits” on gals off the runway, and if they’ll be inspired to seize the wig.
