 2. Mingle with celebs at Madame Tussauds New York

Your friends will be shocked by your latest Facebook pictures with President Barack Obama and Lady Gaga—and only you will really know that the celebrities in your photos are actually wax lookalikes. Madame Tussauds gives you the chance to size up the celebrities outside of the tabloids while getting some really memorable pictures.

3. Become an art connoisseur at the Metropolitan Museum of Art

Spanning five city blocks on the east side of Central Park, the world-renowned Metropolitan Museum of Art is one of the world’s largest art museums. Its massive collection spans 5,000 years of art — from an ancient Egyptian temple to modern American Pop Art

4. Go wild on THE BEAST by Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises

5. Get your history fix at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum
