Grand Riviera Princess Resort and Spa in Mexico

grand riviera princess-5471_n

Fresh off my trip to Aruba for Aruba In Style 2011, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I would be jumping right back on a plane to another, tropical location. (I know, life is rough!) The Grand Riviera Princess Resort & Spa is located just about 30 minutes from Cancun,  Mexico, and while the resort might not be part of the ‘Hotel Zone’, there is certainly plenty to do here! From shopping, to dining, to massages on the beach, the Grand Riviera has enough activities for a week-long get-away without ever having to step foot off the property. With beach access, plenty of beach activities (jet-skiing, beach volleyball, even archery!), a plethora of pools, and nightly entertainment, one can easily come here to relax (or party) and have the perfect vacation, designed to fit whatever it is that caters to your lifestyle.

While this is a family friendly resort, (there are several children zones with playgrounds and activities), there are also adult-only zones, where you can party-rock, so to speak, without having to worry about censoring for little ears and eyes. Also, since this resort is all-inclusive, you can get your ‘drink on’ at any of the many bars located throughout the property, including several swim up bars in the pools; and for the Platinum Members, all drinks and room service is  included. (There are a few different package options; the Platinum Package pretty much includes everything the resort has to offer, while some of the other package options are slightly limited to the non-top shelf liquors and do not include access to all of the resort’s restaurants). Four Seasons Hotel is an Oasis in the Desert

Four-Seasons-Hotel-Las-Vegas-1

It’s hard to imagine that Las Vegas is located in the middle of a desert. This is especially true when you’re driving down the infamous Las Vegas Strip. Flashing neon lights, drink happy tourists and lush landscaping make this American get-away an oasis like no other. Rich in history and full of excitement, Las Vegas has so much to offer. Whether you are a food & beverage aficionado, a showtime spectator, a celebrity spotter, a gambler at the high rollers table (or the penny slots), a fashion mogul, a lounge-by-the pool type, or perhaps you love it all, you will definitely find plenty to do here! And that’s just (some of) what the famous Las Vegas Strip has to offer (I didn’t even get started on the nightlife)!

Take a drive off the beaten path a little bit and there are plenty of other adventures to be found. Horseback riding, the Grand Canyon, ATV tours, and the Hoover Dam are all within your reach. With so much to do it can be a little overwhelming at times (in a good way) and at the end of a long day, or in between activities, it is always nice to have a place to come back to and unwind, relax, and get ready for the next adventure. While I’ve been to Vegas many times over the past few years, I recently stayed at the Four Seasons Resort for the second time.

Las Vegas Vacation

For my most recent trip to Las Vegas, I stayed at the Palazzo Resort and Casino which shares the Venetian Resort’s property. The Palazzo is located between The Wynn and The Venetian and across from Treasure Island on the Las Vegas Strip.

The property’s design is marketed as being reflective of a modern European ambiance and luxury living with some of the largest standard accommodations on the Las Vegas Strip!

With a large, luxury suite and a sweeping view of the strip and mountains, The Palazzo‘s accommodations are spacious and comfortable. Although, the luxury suites do not have jacuzzi tubs or balconies (I wish they did), the suite bathrooms do have gorgeous marble flooring, his and her sinks, a vanity table, a separate area to change, and plenty of room to get ready in style.

Additionally, several five star restaurants are located on the property, plenty of nightlife, a casino, and over 7 sparkling pools, 2 of which are private and adult only.

AZURE Luxury Pool Party at The Palazzo (Las Vegas)

Kim and Kyle Richards at AZURE

One of the things I can’t wait to do in Vegas is hit the pool! This vixen plans on spending plenty of time at The Palazzo’s AZURE Luxury Pool.

AZURE offers a ‘Poolside Brunch Party’ and Other Thematic Days including Stereo Love Saturdays and Dolce Vita Sundays. Their parties and poolside cabanas are celebrity hot spots and plenty of my favorites like Giuliana Rancic and Kyle Richards (from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) have been spotted celebrating at AZURE.

I for one, plan to bask in the sun and experience a mix of music, fashion, cocktail couture and gourmet bites at AZURE’s weekend parties and I might even rent a cabana so I can blog poolside all day long! See more after the jump…

Palazzo Resort & Casino In Las Vegas

A masterpiece of exquisite luxury!

For the first time I will be staying at the Palazzo Resort & Casino at the Venetian in Las Vegas. I’ve dined there and I’ve shopped there and now I am finally going to get to stay there!

This resort has seven pools, five star dining and killer shopping that includes a mall with a river and Gondola rides (plus it’s in Vegas so of course there’s a casino).

I am so looking forward to relaxing by the pool during the day and then heading over to my fave Mexican restaurant, Dos Caminos for dinner. Dos Caminos makes the best ceviches, guacamole and mole poblano sauce. They have a couple of locations in New York as well, but the Las Vegas location is my favorite! There’s something about being on vacation that makes everything seem a little nicer.

“Embrace the beauty and grace of this suite at The Palazzo featuring a Roman tub, a plush king-sized bed with Egyptian cotton sheets, a sunken living area complete with HD TVs and fine furnishings. You are living the good life!”

They had me at “Roman Tub” and “Egyptian cotton sheets”!
