Richie Rich has come full circle from three seasons ago. The designer, once half of the design duo Heatherette along with Traver Rains, has broken off to create a new line called Popluxe with his boyfriend, Ross Higgens and their friend Jean-Luc Quevauvillers.

After his packed show backed by the King Collective at Lincoln Center in September 2010 (for Spring 2011) with Ellen DeGeneres he went on to do a show at the Manhattan Center (aka the Hammerstein Ballroom) for Fall 2011 and LAVO for Spring 2012.
 

 
In the next few months Richie and his friends will be opening a storefront like he used to have with Heatherette in St. Marks Place. Getting into the show was a bit chaotic; the show was added to the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week schedule at the last minute and his public relations contacts were not included on our lists. Of course, we have come to expect nothing less than an over the top show from Mr. Rich. Fall 2012 is no exception, models went down the runway wearing necklaces made from kids converse shoes.
