Yesterday, the cast of Gossip Girl joined Mayor Michael Bloomberg as he presented them with a prestigious proclamation in honor of the show’s 100th episode – officially making January 26th, ‘Gossip Girl Day’ in NYC!

After the presentation ceremony, Bloomberg tweeted, “Congratulations to @GossipGirl on your 100th episode! XOXO – MB #MadeInNY.”

 
Blake told E! News, “I can’t even believe it’s been five years. It’s so crazy. It doesn’t feel like we’ve done a hundred because it’s been so enjoyable.”
 
Meanwhile, Leighton agreed, but added, “I feel like in one way I’ve been here my whole life, so it’s like, oh my god! It’s the 100th episode! It seems like an entire lifetime, but at the same time it’s happened so fast. It just seems like we came here yesterday.”
 
The 100th episode of “Gossip Girl” airs this Monday (January 30) on the CW.
